Korean Dental Veneers in Singapore: Cost, Laminates vs Veneers and FAQs (2026)

How much do dental veneers cost in Singapore?

Reviewed by Dr. Brian Bak Junbeom and Dr. James Leem Jae Hoon, Meiplus Dentalcare. Last updated October 2026.

At Meiplus Dentalcare, Korean ceramic veneers start from S$950 per tooth and composite veneers start from S$350 per tooth, before GST. Our ceramic veneers are designed by our Korean dentists and handcrafted by dental ceramists at our partner lab in Korea. Veneers are a cosmetic treatment, so MediSave and CHAS do not cover them.

The final price depends on how many teeth you treat, the material, and how much shaping your teeth need.

Is a dental laminate the same as a veneer?

Yes. A dental laminate and a porcelain veneer are the same treatment: a thin, custom-made porcelain shell bonded to the front of a tooth. “Laminate” (라미네이트) is the term most used in Korea, while “veneer” is more common in Singapore. Both change the colour, shape and length of the front teeth.

What are Korean veneers?

Korean veneers, often called Korean laminates, are porcelain veneers designed for a natural, subtle result rather than very white, uniform teeth. They usually keep some natural translucency and slight variation in shape, so they look like your own teeth, only straighter and brighter. Korean clinics also tend to favour minimal preparation, removing as little enamel as possible.

Dr. Brian Bak Junbeom discussing Korean ceramic veneers with a patient during a consultation at Meiplus Dentalcare

At Meiplus Dentalcare, your veneers are planned by our Korean dentists and handcrafted by dental ceramists at our partner lab in Korea, so you get Korean veneers without travelling to Korea.

Should I go to Korea for veneers?

You don’t need to. Getting veneers in Korea usually means at least two trips or a stay of one to two weeks, plus flights and accommodation, and follow-up care is harder once you’re home. If a veneer chips or needs adjusting, you’d need to return to Korea or find a Singapore dentist to take over.

At Meiplus Dentalcare, Korean dentists plan your veneers in Singapore and dental ceramists at our partner lab in Korea make them. Your check-ups and any adjustments are done locally at our Tanjong Pagar or Marine Parade clinic.

How long does veneer treatment take?

Porcelain veneers usually take two to three visits over about two weeks:

  1. Consultation and smile design. Your dentist checks your teeth and gums and plans the shape and shade with you.
  2. Preparation. A thin layer of enamel is removed and your teeth are scanned. You wear temporary veneers while our partner lab in Korea makes yours.
  3. Fitting. Your veneers are checked, adjusted and bonded in place.

Frequently asked questions about dental veneers

How much are dental veneers in Singapore?

At Meiplus Dentalcare, Korean ceramic veneers start from S$950 per tooth and composite veneers start from S$350 per tooth, before GST. For example, six ceramic veneers on the front teeth start from S$5,700 before GST. The final price depends on how many teeth are treated and the material, and is confirmed at your consultation. Veneers are cosmetic, so MediSave and CHAS do not cover them.

Are veneers permanent?

Porcelain veneers are considered permanent, because a thin layer of enamel is usually removed and enamel does not grow back. The veneers themselves last 10 to 15 years or longer, and when one wears out it is replaced with a new veneer rather than removed.

Do veneers damage your teeth?

No, when they are planned and fitted properly. Preparation removes only a small amount of enamel, on average 0.2 to 0.5 mm, and the tooth underneath stays healthy with normal brushing and check-ups. The main risks are decay at the edges of the veneer if hygiene is poor, and chipping from grinding or biting hard objects.

How long do veneers last?

Porcelain veneers typically last 10 to 15 years or longer with good care. Composite veneers usually last 5 to 7 years and may stain sooner. Avoiding biting hard objects, wearing a night guard if you grind your teeth, and regular check-ups all help them last longer.

Do veneers hurt?

Most people feel little or no pain. Local anaesthesia is used during preparation if needed, and some people have mild sensitivity to hot and cold for a few days afterwards.

Can I use MediSave or CHAS for veneers?

No. Veneers are a cosmetic treatment, so they are not claimable under MediSave or CHAS. Some related treatments in a care plan, such as fillings or extractions, may be claimable; your dentist can advise.

Veneers or crowns: which do I need?

Veneers cover only the front surface of a tooth and are mainly cosmetic, so they suit teeth that are healthy but discoloured, chipped, gapped or uneven. Crowns cover the whole tooth and are used when a tooth is weak, heavily filled or has had a root canal.

Veneers or teeth whitening?

Whitening lightens your natural teeth but doesn’t change their shape, and some stains don’t respond to it. Veneers change both colour and shape, and they don’t stain like natural teeth. If your only concern is colour, try whitening first.

Who is not suitable for veneers?

Veneers may not suit people with untreated gum disease or tooth decay, very little enamel, or heavy teeth grinding that isn’t controlled. Crooked teeth may be better treated with Invisalign or braces first. Your dentist will check this at your consultation.
